In November 2024, Natalia and Leo from Move Work Forward attended the Google Workspace Summit in Berlin. It was a one-day event packed with valuable sessions and networking opportunities, featuring two parallel streams of talks.

What We Learned

The summit sessions covered essential topics for anyone building tools for Google Workspace. Natalia and Leo gained insights into developing Google Workspace add-ons, creating Google Chat bots and plugins, and navigating the Marketplace review process. A significant highlight was learning how to build successful products for the Google Workspace Marketplace, focusing on quality, user experience, and meeting Google's guidelines.

If you’re exploring ways to connect Google Workspace with Atlassian or Microsoft tools, don’t miss our integrations. They’re built to enhance workflows and save time.

Connecting with the Community

The event also provided a chance to engage with the Google Workspace community. Natalia and Leo reconnected with familiar faces and met new people, including some great folks from Folgo, who shared helpful tips on app security and development.

Exploring Berlin

After the summit, Natalia and Leo took a short break to experience Berlin. They visited landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate, enjoyed meals at local restaurants, and took inspiration from an art museum. It was a refreshing way to end a productive trip.

Success Back Home

After returning, we were thrilled to achieve a major milestone: passing the Google Workspace Marketplace review process for two new apps—Microsoft Teams for Google Forms and Smart links for Developers. These apps make collaboration smoother and integrate seamlessly into daily workflows. Check them out on the Google Workspace Marketplace.

Looking Ahead

The Google Workspace Summit reinforced our commitment to creating tools that simplify work and improve productivity. The insights we gained are already shaping our future projects, and we’re excited to keep innovating for our users.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow and enhance our offerings!
