Position Overview:
The Software Quality Lead at Move Work Forward is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of software quality and reliability. This role involves owning and shaping the QA strategy, managing test case development, and leading both manual and automated testing efforts to support the delivery of flawless software solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure software meets all requirements and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- QA Strategy Ownership: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and software development lifecycle. Ensure continuous improvement practices are incorporated to enhance software quality.
- Test Case Management: Own the creation, maintenance, and review of test cases to cover all aspects of functionality, performance, and usability. Ensure test cases are up to date with software changes and developments.
- Manual Testing: Lead manual testing efforts to identify, report, and track issues. Work closely with the development team to ensure all aspects of the software are thoroughly tested and any potential issues are addressed promptly.
- Automation Leadership: Spearhead the development and implementation of automation strategies to streamline testing processes. Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, ensuring coverage for all critical features and functionality.
- End-to-end Test Development and Ownership: Take full ownership of end-to-end test planning and execution, including integration, system, and acceptance testing phases. Ensure comprehensive testing of the software from start to finish, simulating real-world usage scenarios to validate overall system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Proven experience in automated testing tools and frameworks (TS, Playwright etc).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving quality excellence.
